Driving to Chatel is quite straightforward from the UK and the excellent and mostly very quiet and roadworks free French Toll Motorways provide a reasonably quick journey from the channel ports or the tunnel at Calais.

By Train:

The main popular places to get off the train are at Thonon, Aigle or Monthey. All three need a transfer to resort, so you can use a local taxi or book one of the transfer companies mentioned above . Note that transfers from Geneva airport are by far the easiest option. Finding transfers from Aigle and Monthey can be challenging as some companies do not operate this route.
